Reducing the risk of irreversible losses in the processing  of rough diamonds is an important factor in the production technology of jewelry and microelectronic products. For example, in the process of manufacturing diamonds are subjected to various machining operations: splitting, cutting, stripping, polishing. As a result of the external influences on the diamond, it creates additional defects due to inclusions of other minerals, dislocations, stacking faults, lattice with variations of the impurity composition of the diamond. The greatest influence on the reaction of diamonds to the process of machining have the mineral inclusions. In most of the cases the cracks appear, which can lead to partial or complete division of the rough material,or significantly reduce its quality.
